Sierra's Turtle

Today in room 6 my pet Turtle came she is a female. Hi my name is mummy Turtle. I am a red eared turtle. I am bigger than the males. I am native to North America and are sold in New Zealand as pet. I am an omnivore and I can live to 30 years. I like sunbathing in the summer and in the winter we hibernate. I can lay up to 15 eggs and they can take 60 to 90 days to hatch. I enjoyed coming to Room 6.

Buoyancy Term 1

On Friday the 10th when we went swimming Rooms 5 and 6 had to learn how to float. We used milk bottles, noodles, balls and lots of other things. It was fun and there was lots of people.
