On Wednesday Room 6 and Mrs Inch went to the Nelson provincial museum. We went to find out what it was like on the Clifford boat that the English people came on to NZ. People from Room 6 asked there mums and dads if they could take transport to the Museum.

Room 6's Museum Visit
On the 17 of November 2010 Room 6 went to the Nelson Provincial Museum and dressed up as if we were early settlers. We found out that if you came with a family, you would have to all sleep in the same bed! We had to find a bucket a cat and a big bird. We split up into 5 groups. We relly enjoyed it.

On the 17th of November 2010 Room 6 went to the Nelson Provincial Museum to learn about the early settlers. Niki took us into the classroom where we dressed up. We split up into five different groups. At those five different groups we learnt about five different things. Bunks, food, captain's area, knots and language. It was really fun and we came home with a lot of knowledge.
