Awesome Kiwi Sports Day By Jodie

You should have been there because Wakefield and Brightwater Middle Syndicates had a Kiwi Sports Day. They did it yesterday, 25 November on Wednesday. They did it to get some exercise. They did it at Wakefield School on their back field. It was the Middle Syndicates at Wakefield School and Brightwater School,parents and teachers. It was run,jump and throw.

Events included high jump, shot put, hurdles, 400 meter run, discus, long jump and relays. An interesting event for the parents and children was the 400 meter run because each quarter of the race they would tag their team mate then that person would run to the next person and so on.

When Mum was in Hawaii last she brought Dad a

number plate for his car and it said,''Aloha.''(It means hello). She got it in the Aloha state. I think it about 17 years old now. Done By Zane

Josh's Treasure

On Wednesday I bought a money note. It came from Korea. It was worth $10 in our money but $1000 in their money. Tony bought the money. He stayed last Christmas at the next door neighbours.

Carl's go-kart

On the 9-11 me and Dad got the go-kart going. Around 4:00 we took it to Dad's friend Paul to try and fix the brakes. When we got them working, Dad told me to ride around Paul's paddock. So I rode around it for 5 minutes then,SPLAT! I had hit a puddle of sloppy cow poo YUCK! I said as I hit it again another 5 times. Then all of a sudden the motor turned itself off , Dad and Paul came running over and pushed the go-kart back. About 10 minutes later Dad tested the go-kart again and it worked really good until Dad ran into some cow poo too! "Just like being back on the farm," said Dad and off we went home.

camp water slide

At Teapot Valley Christian Camp there is a black water slide on the hill. When it was my go i got a big push from Steve then I let go of the sides of the mat by accident and started spinning around , I thought i wouldn't get to the bottom but suddenly SPLASH i got to the bottom but then I went too far , I got right at the top at the end of the water slide then I couldn't get down! when I tried to get down I slipped and fell over!
